Once again I stupidly agreed to do another garage sale this year! I get sucked in every time! I am also amazed that I can get a garage full of crap year after year! I was up in the attic/sauna for about an hour getting stuff together. not fun. Anyway, hopefully my sweat and hard work will pay off with some moola this Saturday! Other than that, I'm excited for Michelle to get home tonight and to catch up on some shows. I watched Persepolis last night and it was really good.

Well, Rachel and I got back from Rachael's wedding shower last night! We got to our hotel Friday night and swam a little and then just chilled out in our room. Unfortunately, Rachael and the baby got hand, foot, and mouth disease so the shower ended up being pretty small. I saw Emma and couldn't stand it, I had to hold her regardless of getting sick! She is so adorable. Chubby babies are the best! I can't believe Ryan and Rachael's wedding will be here so soon! I got the info from Rachael for Stephen's tux since he is going to be the ring bearer! Hopefully, that will work out okay! At the end of the shower, Mom called and told me that my Uncle Bob had passed away. Uncle Bob was my Grandma's brother and him and his wife, Betty used to have awesome wiener roasts at their farm. The girls loved to go and ride their horse, Molly, when they were little. They also would take us on hayrides! Bob had gotten into a car accident earlier in the week and never came back from it. I hadn't planned on going to my Grandma's since we were traveling back to TN that night but went ahead and made the trip and ended up getting to see my Dad for a few hours, too. Rachel and I got back on the road and grabbed some dinner. Right after that I started feeling sick! I was sweating and just felt awful! I sat in Steak and Shake's bathroom for about 40 minutes just trying to not be sick! Then, I thought I was okay and got back on the road. Well, I wasn't. I then pulled over and sat in Wendy's bathroom for about another 1/2 hour! We finally got back on the road and made it home by about 1:30am! I slept and felt better this morning but still just feel off. Hopefully, this will go away quickly! Michelle's having a great time in FL with her friend, Mary. They are going parasailing later this week and I wish I didn't even know about it! NO way!!!

Today has been pretty low key. Michelle is going to Cocoa Beach with her friend Mary's family today and will be gone until next Thursday! This all came about yesterday! I'm going to be lost! She's my TV watching buddy. Now Rachel and I will travel to Indy for the wedding shower and have a little mom/daughter time. I guess I'll probably just spend a lot of time at the gym next week. My neighbor, Jessica, Michelle, and I are training for another 1/2 marathon. We're not exactly sure what 1/2 marathon yet but hope to do one in October or November. We have the Race for the Cure on Oct. 4th but that's just a 5K. This will be our 4th year doing it! Rachel will do that one with us, too.

Well, some people are getting a little irate that I haven't been blogging recently so in fear of my safety I will comply!! You know, it's a busy life we Turners lead! We were recently in Alabama and had a fantastic time swimming and watching a lot of House episodes! Everyone loves it! We've started watching so many shows it is getting ridiculous!! We just started Mad Men, are halfway through season 2 of Arrested Development, on season 2 of Burn Notice, and are highly anticipating the new fall shows Dollhouse and Fringe! Also, the new show Wipeout is hysterical. Seeing someone bounce off those big red balls will never get old!!! Too funny! It is going to be a busy year! Also, my fave, Big Brother, just started again and they have a handful of real winners this year!!! Besides that, we are on our way to Indy on Saturday to my future niece's wedding shower and then we'll be back home and school will start on the 8th of August! Whew!!!! Rachel is going to get back into cheerleading this year and will sign up shortly after school starts. I told her last year if she made A/B honor roll on the last report card I would let her do it again this year and she did it so she's back on the squad! Michelle is really wanting to find a job or do some volunteer work so she'll be working on that. My little Stephen is starting kindergarten and I will be at home, alone, every weekday from 8:30 to 3:30!!!! It will be hard to not have Stephen around all day ....... aaahhh, who am I kidding, I can't WAIT!!! I will miss them all dearly but this is going to be awesome!! Of course, I'll be on here in no time complaining of boredom but for the first few weeks it will be very nice!!!!
