Alright! I'll finally get on here with some info! We passed around sickness for a couple of weeks and I was down and out! I do have some exciting news: I'm a new aunt for Ryan (John's nephew) and Rachael's new baby girl, Emma June. And she is soooooo adorable. She had her a couple of days ago and everybody's doing great! I'll get to see her at Easter time so I'm really happy about that! We're also heading down to Bama for spring break week so that should be a blast as well. I have been able to catch up on some movies while I've been home so much. I'll give you the lowdown:

Once: Awesome (thanks for the tip Deneen!) I put songs on my Ipod after watching it and love them! Can't wait to see them perform at the Oscars.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry: Pretty silly but I just love Kevin James so I can't hold it against him!

Stardust: I really liked this one and so did the kids. It was a good one to watch as a family.

Waitress: Really good. Very quirky but I love that kind of stuff!!

We've also started watching the series Bones which is now one of my favorites! I'm just waiting for Season 1 & 2 to go on sale so I can get them! We're watching reruns on TNT.

As for Oscar predictions, our Oscar movie marathon is this Saturday so I hope to see a few of them. Unfortunately, not a lot of the movies are out on DVD yet so I won't get to see a lot of them. I've seen Juno and loved it but that's about it.

I'll go ahead and give early predictions, but I may change them after I watch some movies:

Best Supporting Actress: Amy Ryan, Gone Baby Gone

Best Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem, No Country for Old Men (this one seems like a lock from all the buzz I've heard)

Best Actress: Marion Cotillard, La Vie en Rose

Best Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis, There Will be Blood (also seems like a lock and he seems like an awesome guy!)

Director: Coens, No Country for Old Men

Animated Feature: Ratatouille (although I really want to see Persepolis)

Original Song: Falling Slowly, Once

Best Picture: No Country for Old Men

Do I win something if I get them all right? I think I missed on two last year.

Stephen started swimming lessons with his buddy Hayden last Tuesday and they both did so great. It's amazing how well they will listen to somebody other than their mothers!

Rachel had her Valentine's dance but is still "unattached."

Michelle took a trip to Gatlinburg with her friend Mary and had a great time. She went on some kind of ski lift thing in the mountains and when I saw the pictures I about died! I'm glad I wasn't there to see it!

Anyway, that's what's up around here! I will let you know about the movies from the weekend!
