One of the bigger things that's happened lately I totally forgot to write about yesterday! Rachel is getting glasses! She got a note home from school a couple of months ago saying she did not pass the school exam and to take her in. So, I finally got around to getting her in a couple of days ago. Let me just tell you, before we went to her appointment she was all anxious and saying, "Ooh, I hope I don't have to get glasses!" Just by the gleam in her eye I just knew she was going to fail that test on purpose!! I totally knew she secretly wanted them! Anyway, we get there and he starts doing the test and I actually don't think she could have failed it. It goes so fast when you're sitting in front of that big eye thing and he's saying is this better or worse, how about this one, is one or two better, I don't think she could have done it on purpose! So, we found out she's near sighted and went out to pick out frames. As soon as I walked into the room I spotted the Juicy Couture rack and made a beeline! They were super cute and actually not as expensive as I expected them to be. Our new vision insurance is apparently pretty good and covered almost all the frame cost! So, she tried on the Juicy frames and they were all really cute, then the lady pulls out these DKNY frames that she put on and they were definitely the best. They are kind of funky looking so Rachel of course loved them. So, we'll pick them up in about a week! I might have to go get my eyes checked and get those Juicy glasses for myself!
On other news, I got Katie's graduation invitation today and I teared up a little. Mainly because it's such a big deal for her and secondly because I know I won't be able to attend. Her graduation is while we are at the lakehouse and it is just about killing me! Of course, Karen was awesome about it and that made me feel even worse! But, I told her we would come up in one of the weeks following that and celebrate then.

You totally crack me up! Rachel will look fabulous in her new specs - as if there could be any other outcome. We want pictures as soon as possible. It's been so long since we've seen any of you we can barely remember your mugs.
Congrats to Katie. We've never met her, but if you love her she must be great since you and I tend to agree on most things (except Obama! - kidding). Keep the House Party Rockin! Love Ya!
