Boy, I feel like I hardly have a spare minute around here! Let's see what's happened around here...... Michelle went to her homecoming dance last Saturday and had a good time. She looked beautiful in her dress! I was really bummed because our friends, Kay and Landy, were in town and we all hung out at the Waltmans that night and had Don Pancho's! At 8:45 I had to leave to go chaperone the dance which means I couldn't have any tasty Coronas with my fajitas! What a bummer! Anyway, the dance for me was pretty boring I didn't even have a clue of what to do. They showed me where to sign in and said nothing else so I just wandered around and checked out some of these high school kids. Luckily for me I listen to all the music they were playing so at least I had that going for me! I tried to steer clear of Michelle and her buds so I didn't embarrass her! It looked pretty much like the dances when I was in high school. Couples slow dancing, girls fast dancing and boys jumping around. Probably a little more suggestive but not too bad! I took Rachel shopping to Opry Mills on Sunday for some tennis shoes and for her to use some of her birthday cards but there were no really great deals so we ended up empty handed but we still had fun! Then it was back to the same old same old starting Monday. At least the new shows are starting on TV. My poor Tivo is working overtime!
